The strength calculation of the elevator with a pedestrian bridge for the main and special combination of loads was carried out by order of ChernomorStroyProekt LLC.
The analysis model was created using the APM Structure3D core in accordance with the customer's drawings.
In order to ensure the fulfillment of the strength conditions, the specialists of the STC APM company made some changes to the design.
The calculation was carried out according to the requirements:
SNiP 2.01.07-85* Loads and impacts;SNKK 20-303-2002 Loads and Impacts, Wind and Snow Loads (TSN 20-302-2002 of the Krasnodar Region);SNiP II-7-81 Construction in Seismic Areas;SP 31-114-2004 Rules for the design of residential and public buildings for construction in seismic areas;SNiP II-23-81* Steel structures.

The maximum equivalent stresses obtained do not exceed the yield strength of the material. Thus, the condition of strength is met. The margin coefficient for yield strength is 1.47.
An additional check of individual elements according to SNiP II-23-81* showed that for all calculation criteria, the utilization factors are less than 1.
Thus, the APM WinMachine software package has all the necessary tools for calculating elevator lifts.

Loads were set in accordance with SNiP 2.01.07-85* Loads and Impacts and SNKK 20-303-2002 Loads and Impacts; wind and snow loads (TSN 20-302-2002 of the Krasnodar Territory), as well as with technical specifications.
When calculating, it was taken into account that the following force factors act on the structure:
Dead weight (simulated by specifying the self-weight factor of the structure)payloads on floors;loads from elevator equipment;snow loads;icy loads;wind loads;seismic loads.

Based on the results of the calculation, maps of equivalent stresses for the most unfavorable combination of loads were derived.
The maximum displacements from the action of the combination of load cases taking into account the seismic load are determined.
Checking of elements according to SNiP II-23-81* was carried out for individual most loaded elements of each type of cross-sections.
