The APM WinMachine software product is widely used in our design bureau, in the design of elements of car structures. This is primarily due to the APM Structure3D module, which, in finite element analysis, allows the use of not only rod but also plate (shell) elements in the analysis model. With the help of this subprogram, we have performed quite complex and voluminous calculations necessary for the design of rolling stock.
